#Fangirl in London: Speedy’s Sandwich Bar and Cafe

Fangirl, London

Fangirl in London goes… Speedy’s Sandwich Bar and Cafe – famous location from Sherlock BBC Series. Located 15 minutes away from “most famous address”, North Gower Street is depicted in the series as Baker Street – home of Sherlock and John, with 221B being just above Speedy’s. I personally don’t remember any episode without exterior of the cafe! Interior, therefore, is shown at the scene where Mycroft and John dscuss how to inform Sherlock about Irene Adler’s death. A must visit place for all Sherlock fans, with really nice breakfast for friendly prices 🖤 Expect to meet other fangirls!

Personal note: before I moved to London I couldn’t even dream about being that close to my favorite artists, movies, and literary works. It felt so far from being real when I first saw a postman knocking on Sherlock & John’s door, and then saw a real resident of fictitious Baker Street 221B / 221C leaving the building.
Dreams really do come true in London…

#fangirl in London: The Sherlock Holmes Museum

Books, Fangirl, London, Travelling

Last October my #fangirl dream came true, as I finally got to visit 221B Baker Street – the home of Sherlock Holmes. Those who know me pretty well can tell that I myself am Sherlock Holmes in a skirt – my deduction is splendid, I can guess almost anything by just one clue, and I can literally find any information about anyone. Not mentioning my big love to Arthur Conan Doyle’s literal canon and Sherlock BBC series (with stunning London scenery, of course)!

Indeed, the world’s most famous address was on my Top to-visit list as I moved to London. So I took the initiative and organised a Sherlock Holmes museum visit for New London Girls just like me.
