Last week I turned 24 years old (Yay!). As I’ve been dreaming for a very long time, I spent this birthday in the most amazing city in the world – London.
My day started with a lot of deliveries from my friends in Riga and Tallinn.
I also got a Ticketmaster gift card, which I spent on Depeche Mode ticket (<3), congratulations on the radio, and it was my paydaaaay. After my birthday I also received a postcard with a lovely poem about me and London!
For this special day I’ve decided to take a cable car ride above Thames (ommmg so high) with my new friends. After that we also visited spotless and enormous Canary Wharf.
1* Yay, great tea could be found in small local shops!
2* Better do not go into Baltics grocery stores or you will end up spending more money on some sweets and drinks than on your weekly grocery shopping
3* There is someone giving a concert every single day. Thanks to my friends I’m going to see DEPECHE MODE already next month! ❤
4* There is plenty of birthday special offers and gifts. I even got a five pounds worth voucher to The Body Shop!
5* Australians are very friendly indeed 🙂
A week late (due to post-MA Internet detox), but…
Say hello to super happy MASTER OF HUMANITIES IN ENGLISH PHILOLOGY!
And the theme was…
Simulacrum, simulation, hyperreality – postmodern social critique in Chuck Palahniuk’s novel “Fight Club”.
Reporting on the evaluation: I’ve got a nine (out of ten).
I am a little bit lost in space and time due to MA paper writing, defense preparation, and post-MA syndrome, but I promise to write more 🙂 sooo happy about that unbelievable taste of freedom!
