Last week I turned 24 years old (Yay!). As I’ve been dreaming for a very long time, I spent this birthday in the most amazing city in the world – London.
My day started with a lot of deliveries from my friends in Riga and Tallinn.
I also got a Ticketmaster gift card, which I spent on Depeche Mode ticket (<3), congratulations on the radio, and it was my paydaaaay. After my birthday I also received a postcard with a lovely poem about me and London!
For this special day I’ve decided to take a cable car ride above Thames (ommmg so high) with my new friends. After that we also visited spotless and enormous Canary Wharf.
Look at this girl! She is living in the best city in the world and she is going to see Depeche Mode next month! How happy she is, you could never imagine!
All I ever wanted, all I ever needed is here in my arms…
My biggest dream came true a week ago. I not simply visited London, I MOVED IN. I still cannot find words to describe how happy I am. Words are very unnecessary…
Today I visited Infogr.am office in Old Town Riga for our Riga TechGirls team meet-up.
Just look at this amazing view from the balcony!
Also wanted to say that it’s such an inspiration to work in a community with such amazing people, with whom you share the vision and want to inspire and motivate other girls and women to educate themselves in IT and maybe even step into technology fields. Most important, women should be brave, motivated, curious, and ready to do something new and awesome!
If this seems close to you and your vision, you can find more information about our community, events and workshops on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Cheers!
Finally received photographs from Ju&Max Wedding ❤
As I already had a blog post about this lovely day, I decided to dedicate this mainly photographic post to my look for the wedding. In a nutshell, the idea was to create the look close to my ideal bride’s appearance. You know, I’m not an ordinary girl and I need everything to be creative, original and stylish as much as possible 😀 I will not share my dream dress here – who knows, maybe my future husband is reading this blog entry right now, but it’s a bad luck for a groom to see the wedding dress before the Big day 😀
So, let me present you Nirika the bridesmaid:

By the way, this is my first September since 2000 when I do not need to go to school or university or any courses!! Still cannot believe it 😀
To celebrate this – a photograph from my very first day of school with a photograph of me starting my Master studies.
May the Force be with all of you in your studies! Be brave and motivated!
And this is what can happen when you are enjoying a summer day with your friends, and a thunderstorm breaks in.
What is your synonym for a word “summer”? Is it a beach, the sun, the heat, the holidays, an ice cream or your childhood? Mine is probably the last one. Summer was always for me the time of long sunny days spent at my summer cottage.
The day I met my new friend Nicole❤️
